How We Started
It all started on September 28 2013 with a life-long dream and fifteen years of culinary experience. Chef Jon Holland decided to open his own catering company in order to raise enough money to start his own restaurant. Working all day catering and long nights at some of Birmingham’s best restaurants, Jon built a fiercely loyal catering clientele. In May of 2014 he finally got his chance at a small cafe tucked in a little nook in Cahaba Heights. The mission was clear, provide fresh, seasonal and amazing food dedicated to our rich southern culture with a touch of fine dining.
Our Food and What We Have to Offer
From the freshest fish in Birmingham to creole favorites like gumbo and jambalaya, you are sure to find something that ignites your taste buds. Quality, seasonal ingredients is the top priority of our chefs and nothing else will do. “Come in with an open palate and trust us” says executive chef Jon Holland. Game meats, southern soul food, and fresh gulf seafood is what we do!
